    One thing you have to watch out for with local breeders is how long the rodent was frozen. When I started breeding rats I would occasionally freeze a rat here and there, some of them were several months old when I first started selling my excess, you need to let your customers know that. You may want to ask how long they have been in the freezer, especially if they are really cheap. Many won't even respond to that question LOL. When you order online from a bulk supplier most of the times I found that their rodents were euthanized and frozen when the order was placed and have a longer life in the freezer compared to local guys.
