Yeah, I spot clean as soon as they defecate or urinate so there really is no reason for a complete breakdown of the cage. I have a toothbrush and f10 to spot clean decor that gets tagged. I'm pretty fastidious about keeping things clean and dry so there is no reason to break everything down. I just add substrate as needed and remove the entire section that was pooped and peed on. If you practice good house keeping there is no way you are going to grow harmful stuff in the cage
My GTP on the other hand gets new paper towels and a tub cleaning ever 3 days as I am quarantining so that is a different story.
