First f/t feeding and first feeding in her big girl tank!

If you all remember Maria, my pastel hatchling, was a bit of a problem eater even after I moved her over to the small tub like Deb suggests, I went through a round of mites and all that. Well she’s up to nigh on 200 grams. She hovers between 189-198 depending on when I weigh her.

She has been eating live rat pups for me regularly now, so she moved to her 20L tank last weekend. I also ran out of live pups for her (we froze them as they were getting to be too large) and of course my colony hasn’t had any for 3 weeks now, and no local source that isn’t frozen.

She refused f/t last week right before moving her. BUT today - success - not even 10 seconds of dangling and BAM she struck and coiled. And it was gone 15 minutes later. I’m so ecstatic!
