I was wondering if I should soak Link for the next few days. Is it a normal thing that you all do when your snakes go into shed?

You shouldn't need to, if your humidity is good. Give it a shot without the soaking, or with providing a humid hide, and see how he does.

Well I don't have any moss. And I hope that the humidity dosn't stop dropping. Havn't tried the towel yet though.

You don't have to use moss for a humid hide. You can use paper towels. If your humidity is 60% or above, though, I'd just see how he does.

I raise it up to about 85.My regular humidity when they are not shedding is about 60.
Always perfect sheds over here

I gave Morpheus a warm soak last night , for about 30 minutes . Didn't need to , as the humidity is fine . But he really seemed to enjoy it ! As soon as I placed his coils in the water , he immediately relaxed , hung his head over the edge of the bowl , and stayed that way - until the water cooled !
