Mysterious brown spot between a few scales

I was checking Pylox for injuries and stains today, and the day finally came. There was a brown stain between a few scales near his belly. Need help, what could this be? I'm currently thinking scale rot, any help would be highly appreciated!

Oh, forgot to mention, he's currently in shed, so that might make treating it harder.

    Hi,

I would wait and see what it looks like after the shed before jumping to treatment to be honest. It can be tricky to get the right humidity while avoiding "wet" conditions that allow bacteria etc to thrive and cause these things.

Okay, thanks del! Hopefully it's nothing too serious

UPDATE: Okay del, apparently I was just worrying over nothing, Pylox just shed and now the brown blotch is gone. Thanks for the advice!
