Humidity and water bowl size..

I'm just wondering if I need a bigger water bowl size both like to soak now and then..
I've been spraying their tubs down on the hot side every 3 days or so humidity ranges anywhere from 75% to 40%. Usually when I spray them on the third day it's down to the 40% range I also have a hydrometer in my bedroom and my bedroom is pretty dry 35-40 percent.. I believe that's because of the space heater..

Could put a wider bowl. The surface area of the water is what will matter but imo, if your room is 35% humidity, you need to find a better way to control the air flow in the rack as best bet from the look of the size, you can get maybe 50% more water surface area but I'm not sure that is going to be enough if you have to spray every 3 days. Also you dont want to keep the snakes on wet substrate/paper towels 24/7 as that is going to promote bacteria growth and could result in scale rot since retics like to piss and that mixed with a 24/7 wet paper towels.

As for a bigger bowl to soak in, go for it. Get something like a tupperware rectangular container that isnt too high and is wide enough to fit in the tubs.

I use a room humidifier and coconut substrate or cypress mulch, and never have to worry about humidity any more. It was such a constant battle before, now I just pour a pitcher of water in the humidifier every night and move one with life.

Make sure to get a bowl that is “tip proof” if you get a bigger bowl for soaking. One with a wider bottom than top. Dog bowls are great, but obviously not big enough for your giants. I am not sure where to get bigger ones, maybe a zoo? Lol
