Thanks to everyone for their responses! I decided it was more important to get him back to eating sooner then later so I gave presented a large mouse (23 grams) to him tonight and he tagged it w/i 2 seconds! The mouse got stuck sideways at the entrance of his hide but he managed to pull it in. Hopefully he figures out how to situate it inside. Boy am I happy
