Hi,
Looks like the very top layer of the new skin got stuck to the old shed and peeled off with it during the shedding process.
The only fix is to wait until the next shed - make sure they keep the humidity is a little higher for that one. Nothing you can do at the moment will make any difference to it but it will cause the snake no problems.
