    Hypothetical thought experiment...

If you theoretically had a lesser yellowbelly and bred it to a mojave yellowbelly (or any blue eyed lucy complex and black eyed lucy complex to blue eyed lucy complex and black eyed lucy complex), what color would the eyes be on a super yellowbelly mojave lesser? It'd be a black eyed lucy blue eyed lucy.

I have nooooo idea. The blue eyes in a blue eyed lucy don't come from a lack of pigmentation like in humans, at least not complete, so I don't imagine it would wash the black out to blue by default...and would the pupil still be red from the black eyed lucy side regardless of the color of the iris?

    Hi,

Well... to be strict about it the ivory isn't a black-el.

But lessers also have light eyes and so do mojaves so I'd thiiiiink it would be a blue eyed lucy with pattern hidden but viewable on the head with blacklight.

Can you explain what you mean, I thought ivory is considered black eyed lucy? My Ivory sure has black eyes so I'm not sure what you mean.

Nevermind, did some more digging and found a picture of one. Mike Wilbanks made a super fire super butter in 2013! The eyes are black with a red pupil, but with a blue ring around the outside. How crazy!
