Bathing/Timed lighting set-ups

So I have been reading around here and I learned that you're supposed to bathe your snake somehow? And info on that?

Also looking for a dual timed heat lamp so I don't have to keep changing by daytime and nighttime lights.

Any insight would be nice, thank you

There's no need to bathe your snake. Some people do it if the snake has a bad shed. I prefer making a humid hide and they'll work it out.

You can buy a timer at Walmart.

You can get a day/night timer from any regular pet store or Amazon for like $12. And no, you don't need to bathe your snake. He probably won't like it anyway The only time my snakes ever get baths is if they poop or musk all over themselves. I'm convinced they sometimes do it just to spite me.

Iv seen day/night timers but only for like 1 bulb, how can I get something that just changes from a day bulb to a night bulb on a dual lamp setup. You know what I mean?

You're wanting a dual dome lamp and two timers. ZooMed has a combo dome deep lamp fixture that is pretty nifty for stuff like that. And if you dont want to switch out bulbs all the time, use a CHE. They emit no light and are perfect for nocturnal snakes.

No need for BPs to be bathed. An occasional soak to help with a stuck is all the soaking a BP may need. Proper husbandry should eliminate that all together.
