Last large order was from Big Cheese. Packaging was fantastic, feeders were clean and looked good. The website said they were out of stock of small adult rats so I e-mailed them and was told to call when I wanted to place an order. He had a few packages left and took my order over the phone and had it shipped the same day instead of the following week. I'll be trying Perfect Prey next as I need a variety of sizes of rats and Big Cheese has been out of stock for a while.

I don't recommend Rodent Pro. I've bought from them multiple times and picked up at the local show, the quality is lacking compared to Big Cheese and Perfect Prey from what I've seen in reviews of PP.

I started out using Layne Labs too but they're shipping charges are way too expensive. Perfect Prey is my preferred feeder supplier. Their prices, feeder quality, and packaging are all top notch. My only issue with them is they don't sell rabbits which I'll eventually need for some of my larger critters. Big Cheese is great too but they're often out of the feeder sizes that I need the most. I'm not a fan of Rodent Pro at all. The few times I ordered from them the feeders were soiled and smelly.

Actually perfect prey is only slightly cheaper...
    $7 that's it..
    25 rat pups
    25 weaned
    50 sm/med.
    From Layne labs is $223.16

    25 rat pups
    20 weaned
    45 small rats
    From perfect prey is $195.68
But your missing 5 weaned an small. Add those in it's $216.

Aha, that's because you're in CA Rob . Minus the (10) additional feeders that same order would cost me $157.74 from Perfect Prey vs. $260.80 from Layne Labs. The shipping fees are $29 at PP as opposed to $99.55 at LL. The feeders at LL are only slightly more expensive, which I have no issue with, but the shipping charges make all the difference for me.

That's right... Their in southern California I believe I forgot..
Back in 2002-2003 I used rodent pro and was happy for the most part got back into reptiles last year an heard a lot of bad reviews about them feces in urine in the bags broken limbs so I gave the cheese factory and try and regretted it I wanted the order shipped to a FedEx holding office I checked with the FedEx holding office they said it be okay I told Big Cheese Factory where to ship it and give him all the information and they shipped it to the wrong FedEx office didn't put my phone number in. Ended up getting sent back took me 3 days to get a hold of big cheese and after a week of emails and phone tag they wouldn't reimburse my money I got the cold shoulder from them luckily my credit card back me up and I was credited back the money that's why I won't use them...

Probably just going to stick with Layne labs I found out about them through the Sacramento Reptile Show they were a vendor there bought a couple bags and gave him a try every rodent that I fed was on the heavier side and what their chart was said and the animals look real healthy...

Iv'e bought rodents from LLL with no problems. They looked good and got here timely and cold as a the north pole. Prices seemed fair to me.

South Florida Rodents sells rabbits, but I'm sure their shipping would be insane to CA. I've purchased rats, mice, and ASF (before they stopped selling them) from them and was happy with my order.

I've heard of Monster Feeders before, but have never purchased from them, so can't vouch, but they do sell rabbits.

    Re: Rodent , rabbit supplier

I used to buy from a local guy that breeds feeders but his prices got to be too much - I was going to go with Big Cheese or Rodent pro but someone I trust mentioned Reptilinks....

I spoke through e-mail to Nick and Repti and he was very responsive and easy to talk to. The rats and mice arrived frozen and 99% were within the weights specified.
