2017 Thamnophis Sirtalis Concinnus...
I was happy to see the production from my 2012 pair of Oregon Red Spotted garters. She is a huge female but only gave birth to four babies in this litter. She was gravid last year but unfortunately slugged out. The male was very strong as was the female and the poor production was a mystery. Both went through a 4 month brumation this year at 48F which proved to be part of the reason. She double clutched this year and is gravid again. Hopefully she will have a bigger litter this time around. This is one of the babies.
Stay in peace and not pieces.

Thanks Z. They really are. I find myself staring at them for hours especially at feeding time.

This is the female today. 34 inches long and 306 gms. She's 5 years old and a sweetheart as long as she doesn't smell mice.
