    We are also new BP owners but experienced aquarists. The dimensions you provided are consistent with a 10 gallon fish tank.

    I may be wrong, but I think that a 10 gallon tank is too small for a full grown, 3.5-4 foot long BP. Before making a change, I would suggest that you wait for an experienced hobbyist to chime it. As I said... we're new at this.
