Moves don't have to be too stressful on reptiles, since they get the same enclosure.
First, since the drive will be a long one, try to either take your snake in its own cage (take the water out during driving so it doesn't spill all over the place) or in an enclosure in which your snake can stretch out or get into hiding. Being in a small carrier may otherwise be stressful.
Avoid temperature extremes. Don't leave your snake in the car without temperature control. The stress of temperature changes can lead to them getting sick, even if they aren't immediately affected.
Once you get to your new home, set up the cage in a similar location to the old area. A place that is sunnier, darker, or louder than before may stress a snake.
