white scales near head

Hey, so I dunno if this is the right spot for this but if it needs moved I will gladly do so. So two weeks ago we got our sixth addition to our family, a het red axanthic with a possible het for pied. When we got him we were told he was 6 weeks old. he's been eating for us and last night started his first shed with us. the thing I'm asking (now getting to why I'm on here sorry!) what could cause there to be a white spot on his head now? it was not there before and it is not his shed. He's been handled at least once a day (if not every second day) and it was not there before. he's on frozen so there's no way he got injured from live feed while in our care, and it does not look like an injury. maybe its a scar?or could it be a skin condition? or could he possibly be a pied? (there is no other white on him though.) not too sure so i figured I'd ask. I'm attaching a few photos and I'll try to get one thats not too blurry(old phone). (not sure how to add photos on phone :/ so i put a link instead) Thanks for any imput and sorry for rambling!

I think we'll need more in-focus pictures of his head, if you could manage. It's really hard to tell what we're looking at.

No pied there. Looks like a head injury where the scales got scraped off to me. It should be healed up within a few sheds.

Check your cage up and down, every nook and cranny for anything sharp.

i looked up and down the cage, there is aspen which could be the cause but other than that there is nothing else sharp. i am changing out his substrate just incase.

I'd say it is a scrape from trying to remove stuck shed. It should heal with the next shed or two - which will be sooner than normal because of the injury.
