Well, I myself have never bred before, so I can't answer that, but for the other questions I vote ball pythons! I like their morphs a lot more, I think they are more aesthetic and pretty and just cute in general, I especially love how many morphs there are.
Now, I haven't actually owned a Boa, but my lil ball python makes the best pet IMO, super docile and lovable!
