I wish I had all of the morphs, does that count?
There are a few I might think of selling once I've bred them a few times and gotten the babies I want, but most of the snakes I have now I plan on keeping indefinitely. Even my mystery girl. Originally the plan was to prove her out and then sell her, but now I'm attached.
I've got a list a mile long of morphs I'd love to work with someday, but most of the ones I don't already have are either not that high on my list of favorites, or not in my price range. I think I got really lucky with my current collection though. I can't wait to see what they produce.

Even a single gene Desert Ghost adult is drop dead gorgeous !!!
I'm going to be getting a female desert ghost once Monty finishes his qt. Really want that gene for my eventual plans.

I think it's a good one too, I see a lot of Desert Ghost snakes but not a lot of genes in the mix, seems like people are working mostly with pastel and spider because it really looks good with DG. I'd like to see what it does with other genes, thinking of trying to get a Desert Ghost Bamboo, should be a stunner! Will take me about six years to produce it though LOL.

There are actually quite a few combos out there now.
It does extremely well with Leopard combos, Orange Dream, Pinstripe, Enchi, Butter, etc. Also start seeing it in combination with Clown and Pied now. I've seen a beautiful 5 gene animal with Sugar and Pinstripe in it last year.
A lot of new stuff coming out, but I do feel like the market with DG is more advanced in Europe, but quickly catching up over here, too
with Leopard (images not mine, but I have permission to post them)

I don't even remember what all was in these, but they are stunners. Bottom one was bred by Justin K. and photographed at a show.

Desert Ghost with Bamboo sounds gorgeous !! Bamboos have such beautiful patterns and the DG would clean it up, brighten it and make it POP. I do hope You or someone will work with this combination

No i don,t wish that my BP has a different morph. He was my first snake, and when i got him i had zero knowledge of snakes. I personally don't care about the morph. He is Pastel though.

I agree, it really has not made its way to many combos yet. I’m already combining it with pastel, ghi and leopard. It will be a while but my other top morphs to include are orange dream, enchi and lesser/butter. Bamboo should be great as well. I also added this little girl recently, pastave DG

No, because I saved and purchased just the morphs I wanted with future breeding plans considered, so I have a manageable number and very specific goals.

That's the key phase.." I saved and purchased the morph I wanted" Now a days there are so many morphs being born it will spin your head, but those higher end morphs that catch the human eye usually comes at a high price.
Some people just settle on whatever they can afford just to have a snake, but in the end they are not satisfied with their purchase. This leads to rehoming the snake or even just abandonng the snake to the outdoors to fend for itself (And yes, I've seen someone do that before).
It is a gift to be able to own one of these amazing creatures. And I believe that the TRUE beauty of one is left in the eye of the beholder. No matter what they look like they are all "priceless" to some extent. And l totally agree to save your money to purchase what will make you happy because after all these lovely creatures are going to be with you a very long time.
