When you have a mature BP with "personality" and you get the bright idea to remove the decor and agitate the substrate because it still is producing too humid conditions... If your adult snake equates the holding tub as prison, expect him to be a ticked off little pistol when you pick him up and put him back in the cage. He was striking at me like I had taken away Christmas, terrorizing the enclosure trying to pull everything apart and swinging from branches like an angry chimp at the zoo. Surprisingly and this goes with a previous post about day/night lighting... as soon as the lights came on for the morning he calmed down and pouted away back into his hide with his head sticking out as usual. He is now curled up in the far back thinking of ways to kill me I am sure.
Moral is never ever try and remove an emotional snake from his enclosure before 8 AM and put him in the penalty box or feed him after midnight.
