How long will my setup last me?

Hey everyone, first post here. I just got my baby ball python about a week ago (90% sure shes a pastel), Ive taken care of plenty of tarantulas before but I decided to get a snake to switch things up for once lol. Right now I have her in a 30 gallon breeder with a 1

That should be good for her whole life. It may be a bit big if she’s a youngster, since she might feel stressed with all the space, but just add a lot of cover and plenty of hides and also cover three sides of the tank

36" x 18" x 12" can last their entire life but unless you are blessed with living in the far, far south of the country, get ready for the upward battle of keeping conditions optimal, especially humidity. Lots of info on this site how to insulate glass to handle that.

Re: How long will my setup last me?

So we have "JustinGatCat" and "SDA" agreeing that a 30 gallon breeder "36x18x12 inches" should be good for a female BP her entire life. And my enclosure which is "23,5x31,5x40 inches" which is bigger in floor space and height than a 30 breeder gallon would not satisfy the needs of a 5 years full grown 3,6 feet male according to several members including SDA. So its obvious that what they wrote in my thread was only trying to bullshi. me. Nothing serious

36" x 18" floor space is the absolute MINIMUM for an adult imo.

Might be best to post responses in this thread as it now has more info in the question.
