Best Method of Rehoming?
Hi, all. I've had a good run with Kayly, but I really think it's time I consider giving her a new and better life. I've recently had a baby, which is taking a lot out of me. Making ends meet living paycheck to paycheck is proving to a difficult task and spending an extra $20/check on rats and even more on substrate to regularly sub out is not really manageable right now. She's refusing to eat because I'm struggling to keep the humidity proper without the swamp cooler. Finding time to clean the tank every few days is just impossible between parenting and work, especially with very little outside help. I never get any hits on CraigsList and I don't have any friends who can take care of her. Where else could I try? Is there a FaceBook group I can try? Do local pet stores sometimes take animals? How do I make sure she goes to someone who can actually take care of her? TIA.

You could always try websites like morph market or kingsnake. Facebook does have a lot of reptile groups to post on as well, you just have to find the right one.

How big is she and what kind of morph (or just a normal)? Are you sure she is a female? I noticed you are in Colorado, I live in Bailey CO and wouldn't mind another female to breed with some of my stuff, even a Normal female would work for me as I'm just trying to get my reptile business off the ground. I think you are about a five hour drive from me though, do you ever get to Denver? (You can send me a private message if you want).
