I would check out your local humane society or no kill shelters, some of them do take exotics and take on the task of rehoming. You can try a pet store, I know the one I work at (a Canadian company) will only take in animals that we have previously sold and we don't generally take on 'outside' animals simply due to space. If you do go the pet store route, maybe try a non-chain reptile-specific store, as they will probably be better equipped and have more knowledge of the species and their care.
You can also search on facebook for [your area] reptile rehoming groups. For example the one in my city is called Calgary Reptile and Amphibian Sales and Rehoming.
