This is funny - lost snake found!
So I want a few more Coral Glow hatchings in my display case next year at the reptile show so I decided to pick up an adult female Normal ball python that I found on Craig's List. So I drove over to the guys house, turns out he had a funny story about that snake. Apparently it got out of the cage, crawled out of the window and fell two stories and was gone! She was gone for over a month, they thought maybe it died, so they bought another ball python, a Pastel hatchling this time. Turns out the snake was OK and crawled over to the neighbors garden when the neighbor found it and was taking care of it and feeding it. After several weeks he asked the other guy if he lost a snake, now the guy had two snakes but only wanted one so he sold it to me! I hope she doesn't have any internal damage, I guess I'll find out if she can have a clutch of viable eggs! She looks perfectly healthy to me, just shy of 1500 grams.

Wow, so lucky the neighbor was cool and feeding it, most neighbors around here would probably take a shovel to it!

How did they know it fell out the window though? I mean, they didn't see it happen, and I'll bet that they just assumed it went out a window that was open. A 2 story drop could probably kill a ball python depending on what surface it falls onto.
After a month, I would expect any internal damage to have killed it or healed.
Good luck on your new female! Post pictures.

I disagree, snakes can fall and land unharmed, especially if it was soft grassy soil. They are quite muscly, springy and resilient to falls. Now if it was 4 stories and concrete, then we are talking at totally different amount of force.
edit: also snakes in general are adept climbers and could easily scale the wall, if there were any grip at all. I have found my ball python hanging on the wall like spider man!
