A short poem...

[First_time_herp]

this was written for a contest on another site. It is a Bionicle (Lego toy line) fan site so the poem had to do with the product but this works as a normal poem. Just ignore the strange name.

And the feeling, it burns, like the Red Star at night.
It festers, leaving me a scar and blinding all my sight.
Deep within my chest it hardens my heart and turns my emotions to stone.
I cry for what I've lost, my innocence turns to guilt.
It blackens what was pure, like steadily growing silt.
Ostracized and banished I'm left to deal with this alone.
Rage!
It fills my mind, where shines not the sun.
Locked here I cannot run.
Once you were my brother, now irony fills the word.
Oh, Makuta you torture me so!
Here I wait, just me and my woe.
My feelings dance before me here, where nothing can be heard.
Rage!
