After you have dealt with enough spiders, even those with "no noticeable wobble", you can tell especially when the food comes out.

    Even in that picture if you look hard enough you can see the very tight small teardrop pattern that indicates spider in the BEL.
    isn't it also in the BEL Spider eyes? i thought they're not true blue/silver in color, but much darker.

    it's the space between alien heads, right above the belly. sometimes there's blushing, sometimes flaming. the outline of this space is sometimes referred to as teardrops.
