Feed Sizes

I'm putting together a feeding chart for feed sizes vs BP weight (for a pet, not a breeder.) I know the standard is to feed 10-15% of your BP's weight, about once a week, but I know at a certain point they don't need that much. I've seen the feeding chart that floats around here, but it doesn't seem to follow a percentage guideline. When would you typically switch to a 'smaller' prey size? (I've heard 7-10% at some point?)

There is not percentage guideline at all that's why, just like you would never feed 10% or even 7% to a big adult snake (imagine feeding a 300 to 400 grams rat)

This is the best chart you will find whether you are a pet owner or a breeder, it will allow you to have a nice steady growth without either underfeeding or overfeeding your animal.

Yup. That is THE chart. You can have a littler deviation in either direction, but if you are going to use a chart, that is the one. There are things I do in preparation to breed that really cannot be charted that goes back to reading your animals but that chart is the best generalization out there.
