heat lamp

so i just got a beautiful female baby lesser pastel and i love her so much. but i have a question, she came with a red heat lamp and i don’t know if i should leave it on at night or not or if i should buy a white one for day time, please help i really wanna do this right.

If the room she's kept in has sufficient light in the daytime you can use the red one day and night.
