    Activity?

Can you give us some feedback on how well it works and how to use it?

I believe I have that model (or at least I have the one that fits into the waterfall). You just put the pump in the water, make sure it doesn't run out of water, create a drip loop with the wires and plug it in.

However, the dish I was using was too small and it was making a big gloppy mess in Issa's tank, so I took it out. Maybe someday I"ll buy the waterfall part and set it up when I have space..and who knows what tank it will go in then.

Well, it was only $15 at petco, so i said what the hey and bought it (they have a great return policy too). I set it up in a big water dish, pretty easy. This is all part of my never-ending battle to raise my humidity from 50% to something, well, better. I'll let ya know how it goes, I just put it in the tank.

We have a few that we picked up for ~$8. Currently Smynx has one sitting in Zephyr's water dish in order to keep the water moving and humidity up. Got to be careful with active snakes though as they can easily move/bump it around and leave the thing shooting a spout of water all over your substrate.

Well i've had my pump secured in a large water dish for about 12hrs now. Humidity throughout the tank has held steady at a 10% increase, from 50% to about 60%. Ronin also seemed to actually "notice" that there was water in his tank now, as he frequents the bowl more often. All in all, this seemed like a worthwhile investment. Here's new pics of my setup for the curious:

i use one with the waterfall that it is made to go inside of. it seems to work really well, you just have to make sure that the water level doesn't get too low or dry out or the motor will burn up.
