Re: I need some self control

I'm currently trying to find a banana female in Canada but my regular breeder has sold all his bananas so I'm searching elsewhere. #Homes4snakes

I've purchased 2 animals in a one month time frame, but those will be my last purchases this year. I will need 1-2 males to go with them for my breeding project, but I will be looking at males next year.
I got her from the guy you saw on morph marker, her brother is still available I believe but other than these two, I have not seen this combo anywhere so his pricing is actually quite fair at least compared to the other uncommon DG combos, some of the hets are even going for more. I’d love an OD het DG but I can’t justify the price for a het. At least this girl is a gorgeous visual and I can enjoy her now rather than needing to wait to make visual babies.

Thankfully I have a very persuasive spouse that keeps me under control
I feel for you man. My wife is the only thing that keeps me from getting completely out of control, so that’s important but if she limited me to only one pet I would probably have to divorce her because animals are a huge part of my life but I guess it’s fair to say, we never would of got married in the first place if she didn’t like them too. She’s just the voice of reason and helps me to have limits. I couldn’t have as many as I have now if there was no money coming back from though. IMO, if I’m going to keep this many animals, there needs to be some kind of return on funds because I’m not rich and can not afford to have a hobby that costs thousands of dollars. Now as long as I can sell a few each year to pay for any new ones I might want, then my only limit is how much time I want to put into the care. I’m ok where I’m at now but I wouldn’t want much more so as I holdback babies I will need to sell some off to keep my stock right around 40. At least that’s the plan for now.

Thank you. Yeah I’m amazed at her color, brightness and contrast but that’s all thanks to Desert ghost, the most under appreciated morph on the market imo. I’m not even a big fan of pastave, never cared to own one or work with that combo but then you add desert ghost and it’s amazing, everything about it is enhanced and better. Desert ghost is really just an enhancer morph, but a super incredible one! One of the reasons I think it is so much better than any of the other enhancer morphs is because the others brighten colors but at the same time lighten up the darks where as with desert ghost it brightens the brights but at the same time darkens the darks making for the best contrast in any morph. Not to mention the cleaning affect it has making all the lines so crisp. Take any average morph and you can make it gorgeous with DG, just imagine what it will do to some of the best morph combos I can’t wait to make some and find out If you can’t tell, I’m obsessed with Desert Ghost!

Oh I have already seen some CRAZY stuff come out of Europe !! And have you seen Justins at that Show ? WOW. It doesn't just clean up and sharpen contrast, man, it stands all on its own as well. Even as a "one" gene animal, the Desert Ghost just gets GORGEOUS as an adult. So much fun to have animals that get more stunning with age, instead of loosing all that luster I'm a fan of all the morphs that get better as they age or at least keep their Beauty. But I think the Desert Ghosts are the Kings and Queens when it comes to that

    For sure!
Which ones from Justin are you referring to? I think I missed his DG stuff because I visited his table but I don’t remember seeing any DG or anything for that matter other than a leopard spotnose firefly that blew me away. Once I saw that I made myself leave the show because I already blew all my cash on a freeway and I was getting really stressed seeing so much I wanted with no more cash, the credit cards were about to show their ugly faces so I had to leave before I got into trouble lol.
