    I've just gotten him...
approx. 2 yrs. old male, about 2 1/2 ft. The seller said he was ready 2 eat so I gave him a mouse yesterday (Sat.). The question is how long before I can handle him after he eats? I've heard they need 2 digest their food for a couple of days?

Two days is usually what's recommended.

I feed Pelota on friday night, and don't handle her till sunday night, but usually wait till monday night(personal preference...I give her the weekends off ). So yeah generally give them atleast 48 hours to digest and settle.

Also, for a bp of that size, it seems like 1 mouse would be a small meal for him. How thick is he? Next feeding, try giving him a rat that's the thickness of the thickest part of your bp's body.
