Climbing Branch Ideas?

Zinc question! I forgot what cage you're using for your ball pythons but how well would you say hot glue secures branches? Or how long does it last and how often do you need to re-glue? Im thinking of trying to glue some climbing furnishings I have but I'm unsure if the humidity may effect its strength?

I predominantly use wooden vivs .
Hot glue is surprisingly strong and durable and waterproof - and yet you can gently pull it away or even cut it away if and when required . The glue does occasionally pull away it self or gets dislodged by a snake but then the glue provides a ready made 'flap' that can be the-glued after both surfaces have been cleaned .
Lasts for years normally .
