    Lightbulb 100W Moonlite Bulb Safe?

I have an albino female bp who is about four years old. And she has fasted a good two years of that time. It seems to me I haven't kept her warm enough in the cool months to keep her on feed. I keep her in a 40 gallon tank. I am considering using a 100W Zoo Med moonlite bulb for ambient heat, with a dimming fixture. My question is, is there a risk of the snake getting burnt if she ventures to close to the 100W bulb? Is it safe for use with a ball python?

I use that exact same bulb and lamp with dimmer for my snakes. As long as the lamp is on the outside of the tank It should be fine
