Yeah, that's the 'probe' for the acurite. I still use that one just so i can get a general idea of temps without bothering her. But yeah, they do seem to be. my thermostat probe is set at 87 and two inches down the thermopro reads a steady 86... which makes more sense than the acurite at 88 degrees not directly under the dome :/. Funny enough the acurites have been starting to get on my nerves as well. You're finding that the models you have now are more accurate? I was always wondering what the wiimote looking thing was lol
