    I'm so confused (shedding)

    Hey guys!

So I don't even know how to start this topic, anyways I'll do my best...

A few days ago Noodle started to show signs of shed, pink belly, grumpy and staying on humid hide for long, so I wasn't bothering him at all because you know, leave noodle alone he's grumpy, anyways about 3 days ago I checked on him and he had blue eyes so I was like dang ok he's ready... and then today when I checked on him again it was done... he looks normal now...

The issue and the mister is...

I can't find the shed... I took him out, he was chilling around my arm and I was looking EVERYWHERE and I just couldn't find anything. No traces of shed, nothing so now I'm panicking and idk what's going on, did he shed? Did he lie to me so I can leave him alone, where could the shed be?

Has anyone gone through something like this? I'm so confused guys, any help or opinions would help a lot!

Isn't he supposed to be grumpy or something? He was super chill and his skin didn't look dull, when I was checking on him the previous day he would hiss at me and ball up, now he's outside drinking water and being a normal BP, is he messing with me?

And you picked up hides, logs, plants to see? My boop usually calms down when her eyes clear because she can see me again and knows I won't hurt her.

Yea I moved everything, my wife was freaking out she though noodle had escaped lol but I was just looking for the shed, it's his second shed and I'm hoping it's perfect since the first one wasn't and I've been putting way more effort on having the tank perfect, but idk what's going on, hopefully tomorrow is the day, tomorrow is also feeding day so i guess I'll have to wait :/

Once his or her eyes clear they will shed within 48 hours of the eyes clearing up just keep that humidity up and get ready to see the glow on her after

Yea, I've noticed the same thing, they look like they are going to shed then it clears up, then they will surprise you and shed!

No reason to worry, the snake will shed soon.

They will clear after the blue stage and basically look normal, with clear eyes and skin.

Within a few days they will shed.

The reason for the change in temperament lies in the eyes. As you can see, the snake's eyes are now clear, meaning the snake's vision is back to normal. When the snake is in blue and the eyes are clouded over their vision is comprised and they feel insecure and in turn become defensive. Since the eyes have cleared and vision has returned to normal the snake isn't nearly as defensive.

From my experience all snakes are slightly different... after the eyes go clear it can take anywhere from 36 hours to seven days or so ..

Guess it depends on the snake type / viv humidity and other factors..

I wait for eyes to clear and then start spraying the viv a few times daily until it sheds . I usually find Royal / Ball sheds all crumpled up in a mess - usually in one of the hides ..
