Should I take her to a Vet?

So just now my female ball python, who is 800 grams and about 5 inches in circumference at her fattest part, just squeezed under and out the door to the room she's in. I took her out of her enclosure and set her on the floor for a minute to clean up her enclosure a little. I had shut the door so she wouldn't leave the room, but when I looked over at her about 30 seconds later, she's SOMEHOW squeezing her way under the door. The gap between the door and the floor is barely tall enough for her head to fit through so I thought it was safe, but she somehow was able to flatten herself out enough to squeeze through, which I didn't even know what possible. When I went over to attempt to pull her back through before she gets stuck, it was too late and she was relentless and I couldn't pull her out without hurting her so I just had to watch her squeeze through. She flattened out A LOT and I'm worried she might have hurt her ribs in the process. Should I be worried and take her to a Vet or do you think she's gonna be fine? I would like a professional, experienced opinion on this. Thanks in advance.

Since you didn't pull her out (good call on not pulling or forcing her out, that might cause an injury), and she flattened herself out and went through of her own volition, I would guess she is fine. I would keep an eye on her to monitor any symptoms of injury, to be safe.

Agreeing. If they can fit through, they will. Generally intended to. Takes them a bit since they have to essentially suck in their gut to do it, but. Now you know. Probably time to put some stripping on the base of that door and take it as a lesson learned at a better time than her say, escaping in a closed room and doing that without you knowing she could. Worst she probably got was some scraped scales, so give her a look over to be safe, but most likely fine.

Good call on not pulling her back through.

If their head fits, they fit. They have the capability to "flatten out" by basically opening up their rib cages
