Just for fun: What is in your opinion, an ideal second snake?

So recently I have really been enjoying my time with Firnen. The joy that caring for him gives me makes me think about the future, specifically about owning a second snake (or more) someday

So, what is your idea of a good second snake after owning a ball python? This question is 100% for fun, as I have no plans to buy another snake any time soon.

Well since you already have a ball python, I think it would be fun to get some kind of display snake like a carpet python or a green tree python!

Seconding this, I've been eyeing these and carpet pythons as a second snake to have a few years down the road. Leaning more heavily on the russian rat snakes though.

Thanks for the replies everyone! I think a gtp would be amazing, they are so beautiful! And since I already have one hangout-and-watch-Netflix-together snake, I would not be disappointed in a snake that wasn't comfortable being handled

If I were not breeding and were just going to get a nice display animal, I would agree with an ETB or GTP. They're bright, colorful, and have just about the coolest perching position of all of the constrictors.
