    I wouldn't put much in the stuff you expressed, snakes in a properly warm enclosure begin to rot internally VERY quickly. So it may or may not have anything to do with what killed her.

    If you refridgerated the body and could find a reputable vet to do a necropsy, you may find a reason. Without specific information, it's impossible to say what happened.
