Are snakes ADDICTIVE? And some general info about SD rectics

Hi guys, so I was wondering if any had only one snake, and are they addictive. I think that they certainly are! Please share your experiences. I would love to hear them.

I came across SD retics, aggressive feeders, fast, intelligent and definitely not like pet rocks. So I have a ball python and a dumerils boa and I was always onto the next thing. All these snakes seem to be so addictive like I Want just ONE MORE. A carpet, blood python, SD retic, another ball, hognose. There is so much out there!

I am also 15 so I need to just chill out a bit and take a step back. What do you guys think? Same like me or am I just crazy? Would love to hear any experiences!

I'd say they are addictive for some reason .

I've got Burms / Retics /Royals/ Boas / Corns / Kings / Rat snakes /and I reached 24 snakes before realised that as a hobbyist I was just too many to ENJOY ... I'm currently reducing my collection and I'm down to 20 .

I'm letting the young snakes go and keeping the ones I've had for a while as the emotional hold is greater with them . Also keeping a couple of the tiny hatchlings .




I just want more time to handle and general enjoy them .
