Three snakes refusing food simultaneously
Hello, it seems my 3 snakes (Western Hognose, Bullsnake, Checkered Garter Snake) are all simultaneously refusing their food that they usually eat within 10 minutes. It's been 2 days, which is not too concerning, but I'm still curious as to what could be happening. I'm thinking weather or shedding could be causing it. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Could be weather related I think. Certainly no expert on this, but I know that atmospheric pressure seriously effects my body. I can feel it in my joints and bones and some days it's pretty bad. Sooooo, perhaps it effects them too? If you're anywhere near the hurricane weather especially.

Re: Three snakes refusing food simultaneously
I've only seen this happen for two reasons, when a storm is approaching and when there is something wrong with the food. I've even had all of my tortoises refuse to eat because there was something wrong with the food. Then again I do give all my pets high quality food.
I suggest refreshing the food you offer and ensuring its as high quality and fresh as possible. I do this and every time I help family out with their reptiles the health and condition of the reptiles surprises them.

All but one have eaten, one was just hungry and the other was shedding. The final one has showed intrest in eating but has not eaten yet.

Always good when things sort themselves out.
