    Okay, now that makes more sense. Thank you for explaining! So you are saying I should try and find a yearling male that's at least one gene, or more. I know I want to breed dom and codom stuff right now, so would a spider or a Mohave be a good choice? How is the morph market right now anyways? Two weeks from tomorrow I will start looking, but what and where would you recommend? I probably can't spend more than 150$ total, unless you think I have time, missing the first year would be disappointing!

    It would be a shame to have two males, and one for no reason, but Nix has been such an awesome pet...

    I also have a coworker with a normal female she may give me. Young, but breeding age. I am excited, but I think it's too early to set up the incubator!

    Substrate, now on Nix I use aspen because he likes to move paper towel. The galls are used to that coconut fiber junk, would you leave them on that for now and switch them later? I used to like exo earth, it heals humidity and I can always nice them in feeding day.

    It may be wise to look around and find a Super or ALS male. You might be able to get a Super Pastel male in that range. Be careful if you are tight on funds. One vet visit is going to cost more than the snake.
    Honest, I only need one more ...

    Vet fund is why the budget is so low!

    ALS?

    So super YB is probably out unless I am stupidly lucky. Only breeder male in this area at the moment is a pied, not something I want at this time!

    Hobby terminology..

    ALS == Acts Like Super

    Examples...
    Purple Passion (Mojave/Phantom)
    Highway (Gravel/Yellowbelly)
    Crystal (Mojave/Special)

    None of the snakes will ever make a normal.

    Picked them up and I am somewhat upset. I had assumed they where adult sized females... Underweight and very small. Gotta go get smaller tubs and also weigh them tomorrow. I mean these galls are TINY.
