Reminds me of my live mice bin when all the mice decided to gang up on one. They chewed his head off and looked like they sucked his insides out. When I found him, he looked like an empty tube of toothpaste.
Start using tongs! If you just dangle by the tail then that's more likely why it wouldn't eat from the tongs. Grip the neck/back scruff so its at a natural horizontal position. Not being picky, just promise once your snake is larger you won't want a full force food strike to your hand.

Were they out of water?
No. They had plenty of food and water. Must of just voted on a change of menu and he got voted out.
Wow! That's a hungry snake. Did he look at you after taking it and basically say "you touch this mouse I will snank (shank +snake) you! Odyn did that when he finally realized he was hungry rofl. I slowly backed away quietly lol!

*~* Nothing sticky (tape, stick on gauges, Velcro) goes into your enclosure! Again...NOTHING sticky goes into your enclosure....EVER! *~*
I use tongs but dangle by the feet for mine, less likely to rip off since he's getting more aggressive with his striking these days. Still sweet as can be when outside of his enclosure but he's all but ripping it out of the tongs the last few feedings.
