When shipping more then one snake
I'm using ship your reptiles, and had some questions. I'm only going to be shipping ball pythons so that's what the questions refer to.
Let's say someone wanted to buy a few hatchlings. How many can you fit in their number 2 shipping kit?
What if someone wants more then one adult how many can fit in a number 3 shipping kit?
Are you allowed to ship more then one snake in a box?
What if someone wanted one adult and one hatchling? Would you use shipping kit number 3?

Re: When shipping more then one snake
I have no idea about shipping kits because I buy my boxes 50 at a time. But I can tell you you can ship as many as you can safely fit in a box. Remember tho if shipping adult and hatchlings that the adult could in theory crush a hatchling because of this I ship adults separately. I also always use bags not deli cups

Thank you.
The shipping kit no. 2 is a 12" × 9" × 6"
The shipping kit no. 3 is a 15" × 11" × 7"

Well I have sent 2 hatchlings in the 7x7x7 and 4 in the 12x9x6 and 2 900g females in a 15x11x7 all with a bit of extra room. Save the 7x7x7. It really only fits 2 hatchlings or 1 250-300g subadult

Re: When shipping more then one snake
Depends on how big they are in a 12 x 9 x 6 box you can fit young 3 hatchlings.
If they are 200/250 grams I only recommend 2 for a 12 x 9 x 6 box
I recommend you buy your supply bulk rather than buy kits.
Adults that are 1500/1700 grams I use 11 x 11 x 7 box, if they are bigger than that I use 16 x 12 x 8 boxes

Re: When shipping more then one snake
Great sizing advice here.
I can only add that I prefer to use at least the 12x9x6 box. The 7x7x6 boxes are quite popular, but there is not a lot of room for error there. And if you are doing more than a couple of shipments, then def buy the components separately and in qty, it is more affordable that way- a (small) bunch of boxes, reptile bags, heat packs for the coming winter season, etc.
And use coupon code APS40 for 40% off the FedEx retail price for your first shipment!

Do you think an adult male ball python would fit comfortably in a 12 x 9 x 6 box?
He's roughly 1000-1200 gs.
