I've had my bp for a lil over a week now,and he is snuggled under the paper towels this is the first time he's done this.Is this normal??

is this normal
of course. he is just hiding out where he feels secure and where the temps are comfortable for him. some people here have bps that will only hide under the newspaper they use as substrate and won't use their hides at all. it's just what they prefer.

Yeah, my milksnakes hides wherever she feels the temperature is right. Inside the paper, under the paper, in her hide..wherever. I had to get her out once to make sure I didn't set her water dish on top of her, and it turned out she had hidded inside the layer of newspaper so that she was right next to the fold.

Yeah im always afraid to squash her but sometimes i will find her under the water dish, it has these handles and the bottom of it is hollow all the way around so it doubles as a perfect hide, she is either in there or under the paper.I get scared that she will get trapped on the heat pad and get to hot......I know shell move tho before she gets to to hot...........Hopefully.
