How many of you move your eggs onto a different substrate before hatching?

The title sums up my question. I have two clutches about to hatch. The eggs have hardened up and I separated them. I've seen videos of people who move their eggs onto different substrates (sometimes even stuff like eco-earth or cypress mulch). Right now mine are on Perlite with a layer of egg crate. I'm curious what others out there do.

Well this is my first year, but I took them off the egg crate when they got
close. Now four are out with the others starting to come
out so I put them on wet paper towels. Just seemed right to me.

All of mine start out on an egg crate like material. I do not use any substrate other than the water under the egg crate. Near hatching date I remove the egg crate and just keep them on wet paper towel.

I use perlite and egg crate on day 60 I remove everything (egg crate and and perlite), this way clean babies and not risk of getting caught in the egg crate.
