Sounds like a one shot, one kill. That's always makes for a good feed.

I'm sure the sky hides provide and equally exciting feeding experience.

If I feed live, other than the royal, I make sure all the snakes are in perches.

That said, the royal hasn't missed a head shot in 5 years. which is about 10 meals LOL!

But she's dead on.

The carpet is crazy. she dangles down and follows the prey for a bit and lets it get into just the right spot, then,, BaaaM!

Those pictures make it look a lot more shallow. Two feet of ceiling is actually pretty tall when you see it from where I sit.
