no more accurite thermometers at Walmarts?

Im rather disgusted. So I wanted two new accurite digi thermometers and they no longer carry them. They only carry the wireless kind now with big bulky parts.
So I walked over to the light bulbs so I could buy a low wattage halogen bulb for a tub I need to heat.,Well they no longer carry halogen and I dont know which wattage of the new bulbs will provide the right heat.So I go to the petstore and pay 12 bucks for a 50 watt redbulb and its way too hot..So I go back to walmart and bought some rather expensive 40 watt/29 watt whatever kind of bulb it is and it heats it a bit too much, hotter then I feel comfortable with(92). These guys only need a bit of heat but like to bask(around 85 degrees is plenty). Im at a loss, I just using a UTH right now but really wanted overhead heat since thats what they are used to from the previous owner.

I still need several thermometers too for all the new setups.Ive just been using some really old ones and the temp gun.

I'm using the wireless AcuRite and it works just fine, it's just. Gross to look at. I was disappointed that they don't have the wired probe anymore, but I guess at least it gives noodle something else to rub on? (Maze likes to squish herself between the wireless probe and a tp tube).
