I agree with all above, Hypo, no clear evidence of jungle, only breeding and/or proof of parentage will prove albino. I love your attitude of just wanting a healthy animal, but dont let the guy screw you on the price by claiming false genetics. For transporting him, a plastic tote that is small enough for him to feel secure but not so small that he's curled into a ball, paper towels on the bottom, a sheet or something over it if its transparent. If its a 1/2 hour ride i wouldn't worry too much about temperature, you're going to be handling him for longer periods than that at room temp anyway; as with most things, avoid extremes. Ventilation is usually a good thing, but you dont need to turn the box into a colander, and someone tell me if i'm a horrible crazy person, but tote boxes are not exactly air-tight and i dont think a snake is going to use up the entire volume of air in there in 30 minutes...just sayin', (but ideally a few air holes are probably the way to go)

Thanks for the advice on transporting him. The guy only wants $150 for the boa, so it makes me think he was lied to...someone Sold him the snake telling him it was a jungle? And he's just repeating a lie without knowing. He's definitely the most reasonable... others are asking $250 for their adult red tails.
We'll see, I won't be able to go until Monday.
