Absolutely nothing wrong in asking questions. The good thing about this site is that boards are collaborative and the board rules cancel out agendas. We monitor each other. This is hands down the best resource I know of for anything ball python related. The care sheets are good. The setup stickies are good. There are decades of knowledge here. Trust that if someone has a lot of those little green squares by their name there is a very good chance they know what they are talking about and if someone gives bad information they will be called on it by another board member. Those that give bad information or have attitude problems don't last here.

Until someone begins to understand how boards work, it is hard to know who to listen to. After awhile you learn to understand who's information holds value and who's does not. This is an acquired skill.

As usual, very well said sir.

To the OP, feel free to ask all the questions you need to ask. We were ALL new once upon a time. We are here to help. Like Jodan said, you'll learn who to take advice from and who to ignore, and looking for the green boxes is a great way to learn who to take advice from. That being said, there are some very knowledgeable people on here who don't post all that often, so their rep (the green boxes) doesn't build that quickly, but you'll learn who they are too.

Anyway, OP, keep studying and researching and feel free to ask about anything you're unsure of. As long as you're willing to learn you'll always get plenty of help on this forum from some great people with tons of knowledge acquired through years and years of experience with thousands upon thousands of snakes.
