    ball python has RI

a day or two ago I had started a thread about my BP unusual actions. and a few of yall had replied and gave me some good suggestions and seemed concerned. today I come to you with advice on how to treat it..... I'm going to have to try a home remedy first because I get off work to late to even attempt to make it to a vet that is an hour away. so I need to try and take care of him and get him doing better until this weekend when I can get a day off hopefully. belive me guys home remedy wouldn't be my first choice under different circumstances.

a little bit about him..... yesterday I replied to a few comments and yesterday night around 8 I pulled him out of the cage and opend his mouth and he had bubbles... I stuck his belly to my ear and all you can hear is popping noices and like a gargling noise so I'm 99.9% sure its an RI.

if you have any suggestions on my next step to keep him stable/ better before I can go to the vet all input is welcome

A RI is not the equivalent of a cold and a homemade remedies will only alleviate symptoms on what is already an advance stage. Your only option is to buy a nebulizer and use F10 which by the time it will get there (since it is only available online) will arrive too late as the weekend will be there and your animal will be taken to a vet.

Keep your temps on the hot side in the low 90 and boost the humidity which will help loosen up the mucus.

You MUST go to a vet (Herp Vet) that will proceed with a culture to established the root of your issue (there are different type of RI) and will prescribe an INJECTABLE antibiotic based on the result of your culture.

Do not do home remedy for RI. I lost a high contrast albino and an unknown ghost by using home remedy for RI.
