    Depending on how low your humidity is will make the answers different.

    Mine is low since the roommates like to run the AC so I offer a bowl of dampened moss as a "microclimate" if he wants more humidity than the 50-60%, and move it into his hides when he's looking about to shed. Some also recommend a sponge.

    However, misting the cypress should be fine, it's intended to be damp; just not SOAKING. I have to do the same for my hemp substrate, since it's intended to work in a similar fashion to cypress while being locally sourced.
