    Good weight?

    Hello everyone!

So I am just wondering something about my Ball Python Pua concerning his weight
Right now, he is 7 months old and weighs 274.99 grams as of today. He is eating Small frozen rats every 7 days. All parameters in his tank are good, he eats like a champ, and his feces look nice and healthy. Is he underweight for a male his age? If so, is there any way to fatten him up?

Weight really does not matter I have hatchlings hatched in April that are as big as that just like I have a September hatch that is around that size as well.

There is a lot that go into weight, weight out of the egg you can have 40 grams hatchlings or 90 grams hatchlings, how fast they get stated (some will take 6 to 8 weeks before eating on their own), prey size, feeding frequency etc.

So the weight is not as important as most think and may vary greatly, what matter is to have a healthy BP with good body proportions.

Based on the picture I will say that your BP if just fine.
