    BPs are more than pet rocks, much to some people's surprise.

    Craig and Jodan are definitely right, it doesn't seem like he's constantly roaming during the day. My boy has husbandry in normal ranges and will often come out during daylight hours now that he's comfortable to soak up the sun, get a drink, etc.

    Give him thirty to an hour and he's back in his hide.

    Suffice to say, unless the daytime roaming is constant and for extended periods, there's little to be concerned about. Sometimes they have distinct preferences and personality: mine's breeder said he prefers the cool side almost constantly, and he does the same here with identical hides and a proper heat gradient. Just what he likes, far as I or anyone else can tell.
